Hello! I’m Ajaye (“A.J.”), a singer-songwriter/musician here in Nashville TN, and I’ve been in the music industry since 2010. My catalog consists of over 200 songs (think of it like a mixtape or burnt CD), and I’m passionate about creating the perfect set list and mood for your event. You name it, I probably know it (or can learn it ahead of time), and I have the skill set to take (almost any) request on the spot! I’ve performed at The Bluebird Cafe, and tour Canada, the US and Europe. I perform at corporate events, private parties, online events, proposals, weddings, happy hours and more.

Initials quotes that are sent include travel time, setup and tear down and the performance.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

The first thing I like to do is hop on a call to say hello and learn the details and expectations of your event. Clear communication from the very beginning ensures everyone involved understands what’s expected from the beginning of the event to the end.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have a degree in theater performance, and have been a full time performer since 2015. I’ve toured around the US, Canada and Europe, and have played at many of the music venues in downtown Nashville TN.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

Performing and entertaining people has always been a part of what I do. Connecting with audiences is a passion of mine and I’ve had the opportunity to perform in front of all kinds of people and groups over the years.

- Is the event outdoor or indoor? If scheduled to be outdoor, is there a back up plan for poor weather? - Is there access to a power supply? - Would you like the musician(s) to actively engage with your guests? - Are there any specific songs you’d like included?
