Introduction

Hi there! I'm Ebbony, a Bay Area wedding officiant with a knack for crafting warm and engaging ceremonies that celebrate your unique love story. Before I continue telling you a little about myself, please note that my packages and prices are as per below and are very transparent. * Please do only reach out if you are genuinely interested in working with me, as us thumbtack professionals get charged a significant amount every time you email us, even when you don't reply 🥴 Please see below for my pricing structure: $475 - City Hall - Monday to Friday only * Personalized ceremony, which goes for approximately 15-20 minutes $725 - Classic Ceremony * Unlimited Guests * Personalized ceremony between 15 - 30 minutes in duration. * Travel included up to 30 miles. Over this radius, it is $1.75 per mile from Walnut Creek. Now, where were we??… I've been in the wedding industry for over 15 years, starting in luxury hotels in Australia, London, and the USA. My family also owns and runs a Wedding Venue called Bidja Estate in NSW, Australia, in which I manage all marketing for them remotely here in San Francisco. I am passionate about helping couples create personalized and memorable ceremonies that reflect their personalities and beliefs. From the opening words to the final vows, I work closely with you to ensure that every aspect of your ceremony is tailored to your preferences and style. And as a lover of chocolate and spicy margaritas, I bring a fun and relaxed energy to every ceremony I officiate! My mission as your Officiant is simple. I want to help support you and facilitate your perfect ceremony. One that is engaging, fun, genuine, and – most importantly – totally you. I work with ALL couples in the Bay Area and beyond.

I've been in the wedding industry for 15 years, so when you book me, you have a true wedding professional by your side. Please see below for my pricing structure: City Hall Wedding Ceremony: $475 - Monday to Friday only Personalized ceremony between 15 - 30 minutes in duration. $725 Classic Ceremony Personalized ceremony between 15 - 30 minutes in duration. Travel included up to 30 miles. Over this radius, it is $1.75 per mile from Walnut Creek. During our initial consultation, we can discuss this further, and I can provide you with a detailed proposal based on your location and needs.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
If you choose me, I want to meet you personally or virtually. My favorite part of this job is getting to know you both! I want to know all of those parts of your love story that make you look back and giggle. If you would like personalized elements incorporated into the day, there will be a fun questionnaire to fill out. We discuss your ideas for the ceremony and any rituals, readings or traditions you would like included. On the day, I'm there to support you. I will be there 30 minutes early. I will have a fully charged PA system (if needed) and am ready to calm any nerves you may have. Let's get you married!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I have been in the wedding industry for over 15 years and have worked in Australia, London and now the USA. I have held wedding planning roles in some of the world's largest luxury hotels and resorts. I also work within my family business of owning a wedding venue based in NSW Australia. I work remotely and manage all marketing and booking channels. If you would like to see this, feel free to look up Bidja Estate in Ourimbah NSW Australia and read all reviews.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
This work to me is not work, it's a passion. I love this industry with my whole being! Working remotely with my family's wedding business, I was missing a critical element of being involved with our couples and operations. Moving into the role of a wedding officiant is a natural progression and allows me to extend my work to this industry.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Ensure you and your partner obtain your marriage license before the ceremony and bring it on the day. You do this via the local county. One witness is essential, and you can have up to two in California (I suggest bringing two). Discuss with each other what is important to you. Do you want a personalized ceremony that includes your own vows, or a standard pre-written ceremony? I welcome both. Are there any cultural and/or religious rituals you would like to include? An average ceremony takes 15-20 minutes.
