What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Jose charges a one flat fee for the Wedding Service. If the couple needs Jose to be at the wedding rehearsal prior to the wedding day, there is an additional fee.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Jose will schedule a call with the couple to confirm the date. Once the date is confirmed a deposit is due to reserve the day and time. The couple is encouraged to go to their local Court House for their wedding certificate, which Jose will sign as the official officiant the day of the wedding. The week of the wedding Jose will circle back with the couple to prepare for their day. Payment is due by the wedding date.

Jose Palos has a Bachelors Degree in Religious Studies and has been a Wedding officiant for over 11 years.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

Jose began officianting weddings after graduating from College as a service for close friends and family. He really enjoyed serving couples in this way and decided to expand his services.

What types of customers have you worked with?

Jose has had the priviledge of working with all Spanish speaking, English speaking, Bilingual, traditional and nontraditional ceremonies.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I have had the priviledge of officianting all types of weddings! From small elopments with just the bride and groom on the beach to large weddings of over 300 guest! Each one is special and I feel honored to be chosen for their special day.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

When looking for an officiant its important to have a clear vision for what you would like your ceremony to look like and feel like. Make sure that the officiant you hire aligns with your vision.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Jose Palos cannot give you a wedding certificate. Couples are responsible for going to their local court house and obtaining a marriage certificate which Jose will sign as the officiant on their wedding day.
