Introduction

I cherish each opportunity to create what couples are seeking for their wedding, commitment, or elopement ceremony. You may or may not have a vision for what your ceremony should look like, and I see it as my role to help you define that vision in a stress free and enjoyable manner. If you choose me to officiate your important day, you will be choosing an experienced professional, and I’m confident you will be happy with the results: a memorable and cherished experience. I have officiated over 600 ceremonies during my 6 years as a professional Officiant. This includes non-denominational ceremonies with a spiritual/religious component, as well as non- spiritual and non-religious ceremonies. I can also provide a Hand Fast if requested, and offer many other unique elements, such as the sand ceremony or unity candle lighting. Please take a look at my reviews for insight into the experience other couples have had. The first step is to schedule a call to get to know each other. I hope to hear from you soon!

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
My base price for weddings is $205 and for quick elopements $165. I do charge for travel that exceeds 50 miles from my home. Whatever the difference is will be charged per mile at the federal rate of 56 cents/mile .

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
For my wedding clients, it all starts with a phone call. Once we connect through Thumbtack, we set up a convenient time to talk and get to know each other. From there we will decide if I’m a good fit for your wedding day and proceed with the booking. I ask for $100 deposit to reserve my time for your wedding day.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I have spent many years in the spotlight, speaking and presenting to large groups of people, teaching in classrooms to adults and children, and of course, marrying dozens of couples over the last 18 months of performing wedding ceremonies. If I was not teaching, I would be acting. In other words, I’m comfortable in many different public settings.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
My wedding ministry is a calling that I answered a few years ago when I applied through the Universal Life Church to become an ordained minister.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I have worked with people of all faiths, beliefs, and LGBTQ. I see everyone first as a human being, entitled to the best that I have to offer.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
All of the weddings I’ve performed have had special meaning to me. From the smallest , most intimate affair, to the larger events with hundreds of guests, my focus is always the couple, helping them to feel calm and comfortable on their big day.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
I recommend talking to a couple of wedding officiants/ministers, to make sure you are selecting the person that you feel will provide you with the experience you are looking for.
