My name is Daniella and I am a photographer, Bilingual Wedding Officiant, and Registered Nurse in the Central Valley and Bay Area. I do anywhere from simple wedding ceremonies to custom wedding ceremonies which include but are not limited to: sand ceremonies, candle ceremonies and more. I struggled to find a Spanish-speaking officiant for my wedding, and that experience, combined with my time reading during Mass in college, inspired me to become an officiant myself. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I currently only offer photography for couples I officiate weddings for. I offer different ceremony packages but my simple ceremony package starts at $180 for Central Valley Ceremonies $200 for simple ceremonies if you hire me through here (to cover Thumbtack prices). Travel fees may apply.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I typically send out a questionnaire for people looking for a wedding officiant. The questionnaire lets me get to know you and your needs a little better and helps me write my scripts. I am also available to meet via zoom.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have my officiant certificate through ULC. I have taken photography courses at Universities and online. I continue to do workshops and classes throughout the year.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I had a hard time when I was looking for a Spanish speaking officiant for my wedding… that and me reading during mass at my time during my college years motivated me to become an officiant.Ever since I was a little girl I was the gal behind the camera! I have always been into capturing special moments.

What types of customers have you worked with?

Newborn to Adults.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I love working with newborns the most and it would be amazing if one day in the future I can focus on just newborns, children, and maternity photos. I also really love doing smaller weddings as well as officiating weddings.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Make sure you review their work to see if it matches what you are looking for.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Do you have a location, date, and time for your event? What type of photos do you want? How many hours do you want? For ceremonies: What type of ceremony do you want? Typical questions thumbtack asks you, how many guests do you expect? Time, location, and date.
