Introduction

Weddings are a celebration of love and commitment, and I believe they should be nothing short of spectacular! As a lead pastor of a local church, I take immense pleasure in performing weddings and crafting a ceremony that is tailored to your preferences. I will work with you closely to ensure that every aspect of your special day is exactly what you envision and that you feel at ease throughout the entire ceremony. Together, let's create an unforgettable wedding experience that will be cherished for a lifetime!

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
I usually tell couples to discuss it together and give what they feel is right. $250 seems to be the average I have received throughout the years and I put $200 because Thumbtack says I have to have a price. :)

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
Before your wedding day, I'd love to meet with you and your fiancé for about 45 minutes. During this meeting, we will go through a general order of ceremony that will make the process super easy. Your satisfaction is my top priority, so if after our first meeting you are not comfortable with me officiating your wedding, just let me know and I will not charge you a single penny. Remember, this is your special day, and we will make sure the ceremony is exactly how you want it to be.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
Non-Denominational Pastor for over 30 years with over 300 weddings officiated. I love helping couples with their wedding!

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
Started out as a youth pastor in 1995 and have been doing ministry and weddings ever since. I am a Lead Pastor of Shine Church in Castle Rock, CO.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
All sorts, but for this particular arena... Couples getting married. :)

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
I recently discovered that a wedding I officiated was featured in a videography company's YouTube video. It was a pleasant surprise, as I had no idea it was being recorded. They used excerpts from the ceremony throughout their video, and it turned out beautifully. It's worth noting that while the ceremony is typically 30-35 minutes long, we can customize it to suit your preferences. Whether you want a short and sweet ceremony or a more elaborate one, I'm happy to work with you to make sure your special day is everything you've dreamed of.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
As someone who has witnessed countless weddings, my biggest piece of advice for any couple getting married is to ensure that you feel completely comfortable with the person who is officiating your wedding. This is a once-in-a-lifetime event, and I understand how important it is to make sure you have no regrets. My goal as your wedding officiant is to create a ceremony that reflects your unique love story and leaves you with nothing but beautiful memories.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Before we meet, there are a few things to consider that will help us create a personalized and memorable ceremony that reflects your love story. Here are some things to think about: - Vows: Do you want to write your own vows or would you like me to help you with them? Will you be repeating them after me or saying them to each other directly? Do you want to recite them from memory or read them from a card? - Special Moments: Are there any particular moments you'd like to include in the ceremony? For example, a unity candle or sand ceremony, a special song, a meaningful poem or reading, or any other element that represents your unique bond? Let's discuss any special moments you have in mind so we can incorporate them into your ceremony seamlessly.
