Introduction

Congratulations...you are getting married and you want to celebrate with family and friends. Wonderful. I offer a traditional ceremony with a bit of pioneer flavor thrown in. I would be delighted to assist you in any way I can. One thing that is unique about my service to you is that the price is up to you. In the last year I have been paid as much as $500, and as little as 0. But, I still let you decide. I have been conducting weddings since 1979, and seen about everything. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I like to sit down and have a meal together to get acquainted, and to talk about their plans, including the ceremony.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I am a seminary-trained pastor. I pastored a couple of churches in California before getting called back to Active Duty in the Army to serve as a Chaplain. Besides providing me with solid theological training, I have had the experience of working with couples of every faith, and some with no faith. Lot's of experience with young couples, and I love it.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

Church pastor for six years, and then ten years as an Army Chaplain...came with the territory!

What types of customers have you worked with?

See above...just about everything. In the Army you are the pastor of everyone, regardless of the faith affiliation!

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

Last July, I officiated at 19 weddings in one month. Whew! Was that fun, or what?

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Look for someone you can get along with.
