Introduction

Congratulations! We are the "Men In Black Officiants". We Officiate at Ceremonies for: Non-Denominational, Inter-Faith, Military Honors, Secular, Catholic (non-roman), Marriage Equality Weddings, Elopements, Vow Renewals, Baptisms/Christenings/Baby Blessings & Other Life Events. More info about us, pics, videos, etc. are available on our website “Men In Black Officiants”. WHY YOU SHOULD REGISTER & BOOK MEN IN BLACK WEDDING OFFICIANTS The Cliff Notes summary (*additional details are in the attachments) • We have officiated at over 2,200 weddings & have 30+ years of experience • A MIBWO ceremony has attention paid to many details with little extras inter-woven in your ceremony • Ceremonies can be structured to be traditional, spiritual, or secular • We seek your suggestions as we do not use the same canned shelf ceremony over and over for all couples, where a one shoe fits all • Our ceremonies have sensitivity, humor, and a sense of awe • The ceremony from start to finish, includes all the written logistics and details to stay on track regarding music/processional/ceremony/and recessional directions • We complete and legally sign & register all your marriage license documents with the State for you and copy you on the documents We do it all for you. The fee quoted covers 20-30 hours of ceremony preparation. This is from start to finish including communications, emails, actual work hours, research, meetings, travel time to/from your wedding venue location, performing your ceremony, and the signing/registration of your marriage license documents with the State. Rehearsals have an additional fee. To save you expense, we recommend you run your own rehearsal, we tell you how, (however, a more involved ceremony often need a rehearsal). A ceremony is custom-designed for each couple. We are well known for our attention to detail, and extra touches we put into a wedding ceremony. The final ceremony script guides the officiant to adjust to the tone and mood of the ceremony on the couple's behalf. We suggest couples to "invest" time, resources, and funds in their ceremony which is the most important part of the couples wedding day. The ceremony "IS" your wedding! The buzz at a reception from family and guests will be about your ceremony where your hearts are joined for life. Having the "right "Officiant makes that happen for you. We are flexible in custom ceremony design and create the perfect ceremony for you! Many couples refer us to their family and friends. Our ceremonies are worth far more than an officiant fee paid. You want an Officiant that celebrates your ceremony with a larger than life personality. The bottom line? Secure the right wedding officiant for your ceremony that will capture your special moments during the wedding ceremony. We provide ceremony planning with couples by phone, text, and email. Occasionally, consultation meetings are requested. Call for more details. (Please note: we also offer a short (non-roman) catholic mass with/without communion or touches of catholic traditions at the venue location. We provide a catholic ceremony inside or outdoors, on a beach or at any venue. The catholic ceremony is in the Old Catholic Rite. This Rite is not in union with Rome but the ceremony is approx. the same.) "Men in Black Wedding Officiants balance fun with the Sacred, are spiritual as well as sensitive, and in addition, we are engaging and inclusive of all couples and guests." Thank you and Best Regards, Rev. Mr. Kenneth R. Warne & Rev. Michael K. Carroll Visit our website “Men In Black Officiants”

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
Contact us for pricing. The many options and pricing are list on Our "Wedding Registration Form".

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
We make the connection with a couple, find out the couple's needs, meet with them if needed, and share many wedding ceremony ideas and suggestions for them to consider. We and the couple together create and write a custom-designed ceremony script for the couple; to include the wedding traditions and rituals appropriate to them. They can write their own vows and make suggestions for the ceremony script.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
Your wedding ceremony officially starts you off as a couple, thus the ceremony needs to be celebrated and performed in a special way. We have officiated at over 2100 weddings. We have excellent reviews from the many couples we married, who were amazed at our ceremony Officiant services. As experienced wedding Officiants, we were trained and Ordained in person. We were not appointed in 10 minutes from an internet computer using a credit card. After 10 years of Seminary College and Graduate School of formal studies in Philosophy and Theology, we respect all spiritual traditions as well perform ceremonies that are secular, non-religious or ceremonies for atheists. We have over 30 years of experience. We are old enough having required wisdom and experience, young enough being flexible with a sense of humor for a couple's ceremony. The ceremony IS your wedding! The key here is to secure the right wedding officiant for you to start Married life, and thus choose the Men In Black Wedding Officiants. The ceremony can be traditional, casual, or reflective using non-religious customs. We make your ceremony the most beautiful day in your life. We do not impose our religious beliefs on anyone. The MEN IN BLACK Wedding Officiants have Officiated at all types of ceremonies.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
Having been in religious life for over 40 years and seeing the needs of those with different beliefs and positions than ours. I believe we are inviting and engaging of all a couple's family and guests. The enjoyment of seeing the couple faces as they get married is really beyond words and makes the work we do very satisfying to us.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
We worked with all kinds of couples--Non-Denominational/Denominational, Inter-Faith, Military Honor Guard, Spiritual, Catholic, Marriage Equality, Vow Renewals, Elopements, Funerals and Baptisms/Christenings. We customize your wedding ceremony. The are many tasks required by many people for the Officiant to coordinate with, as to have all the details intermesh for a smooth and inviting ceremony to occur. This usually involves about 10-20 hours of preparation time per ceremony. Our officiant services keeps a couple in the loop, by ongoing phone calls and emails to the couple. The preparation a wedding ceremony from start to finish plus the actual travel to and from your wedding venue location to perform your ceremony, the signing and registration of your legal wedding documents with the State afterwards….takes a lot of time! We create a ceremony with sensitivity and light humor as to keep the family and guests engaged in the ceremony and we create a sense of awe with a spiritual reflective tone. Now that you better understand all that is involved on our part to prepare and to Officiate at your ceremony, we hope that you consider using our Officiant services for your wedding ceremony. You do this once…have it done right with the professional approach of an Officiant who has the grace to create your wedding experience that married couples need for their special moments.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
There are many and they can be seen in the pictures and videos that are on our Men In Black Wedding Officiants Facebook page.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Register early and complete the contract and send in the required fees, to secure and book your date and time as many couples often call to request the same date.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Couples should take the required time to become familiar with all the ceremony options available to them as to understand what we can do as Officiants to custom create those traditions and rituals into a ceremony that are appropriate to them. Once again a couple's ceremony can be traditional, casual, spiritual or reflective with secular traditions. It is only then when we have that input from a couple is when we can make your ceremony one of the most beautiful days of your lives.
