Notice: I DO perform small wedding with less than 20 people but most of them are in the Middle GA area. I travel often so the fee with travel for a wedding with 20 persons or less is negotiable. Please call for a quote. With over 1,900 ceremonies performed, you not only get professionalism, you get experience that will help make your day extra special and memorable. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

My Average Fee varies depending on when your ceremony is and what city it will be held in. Quotes provided include PERFORMING the CEREMONY, all TRAVEL related expenses, assistance in Writing Your VOWS, and PROCESSING your MARRIAGE LICENSE following the ceremony. If you receive a quote that is lower, please allow me the opportunity to meet or beat it. I am very flexible and considerate. I will do whatever it takes to earn the honor to serve you on your special day. Please ask about special discounts for Active Duty Servicemembers, Veterans, First Responders and Senior Citizens. Deposit/Payments can be made via Zelle, Apple Pay, Cash App, or Venmo. Cash is accepted for deposits if we are able to meet in person locally prior to your ceremony. A digital receipt will be provided for all payments/deposits. Deposits are non-refundable but in certain situations, your deposit can be kept on record for up to 1 year from your original wedding date should unforeseen circumstances arise. Additional services available are (rates vary): 1) Rehearsal 2) Day of Coordination Services 3) Master of Ceremonies

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Once the couple has posted their deposit, I will work with the couple...usually the bride (because you know who's day it really is, right? LOL)...to prepare a detailed script of the ceremony so you don't actually need me to attend rehearsal. I will gladly attend but there is an added fee to do so. We will make this day your best day ever. I will suggest ideas but the couple has the final say so. It's kind of like Burger King...you CAN and WILL "have it your way."

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

My Army career instilled unparalleled professionalism enhanced by precise attention to detail. With over 1,900 weddings performed, you need someone that has "been there and done that" and has the experience to help you make your wedding the most wonderful and memorable (in the good sense) event of your lifetime. This attention to detail will benefit you and your fiancé on your special day.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

Kind of a long story but I'd be glad to share it with you later. I love what I do and I love meeting new people and traveling all over the South. When you're blessed to do something you love and enjoy, it's not really work, it's just another awesome opportunity to make your day the BEST DAY EVER :)

What types of customers have you worked with?

Most commonly I provide wedding officiant services but, upon request, I can assist with the planning the actual wedding, Day of Coordination or serve as MC services. Although I respect others' choices, my faith and beliefs prevent me from performing same-sex ceremonies. I do have a couple of friends who I can refer you to if this is the case. Just let me know. :)

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

Two special ceremonies stand out to me. Although every ceremony has its special moments, the first extra special ceremony was one where the bride was in her wheelchair. Through her disability, she still shined so brightly and her husband is blessed to have her as his wife. The second was my first ceremony behind prison walls. He was due to be released and all through his time of incarceration, his childhood love stood by him and was waiting for his release for them to start their new life together as one. There are many more but these two are just the different ones that stood out in my mind today.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Don't just look at the price quote when making a decision. Don't forget...you get what you pay for. Check out the Officiant's reviews and ask plenty questions. There are no stupid or dumb questions. If you're looking for a professional, and a guy not afraid to laugh and have a good time...then I'm your man. I may be a little more expensive but there are no re-dos of your wedding day so you have to have it done right the first time...if that is so, I'm your man that can and will do that for you. I try to keep my fees competitive so if you get a quote that is lower than mine, let me know and I will do my best to meet or beat it. Don't be afraid to ask me anything.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Customers should use the site toread and research who they want to perform their wedding before they post a request. We, as officiants, have to pay to send quotes so those who are testing the waters or just thinking about getting married can end up costing us money so I strongly suggest that you ensure you have made up your mind to actually get married and have a date set.
