Introduction

Hi, I'm Reverend Roland J, a wedding officiant in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. My job is to make your ceremony memorable and unique, keeping the focus on you and your story. When you hire me, you might be hiring a top-notch officiant, but you'll leave with a friend. I love bringing people together, and weddings are the best way to bring your family and friends together for a fun celebration of your love.

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
I start out at a certain rate, but that can go up or down depending on time and location. However, I’m flexible, and I won’t tack on any hidden fees. When we agree on a rate, that’s the rate.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
I like to know what expectations you have, and how I can best meet those expectations. I’m easygoing, give me a call or a text and we’ll work something out! I’m here to help in whatever capacity you need.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I have performed a lot of weddings, and practiced my public speaking skills through hosting open mics, trivia nights, and other community events. That has allowed me to keep things casual and fun, while still getting important information across.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
My cousin got married a few years ago, and I asked her if there was anything she needed help with. She jokingly said I could officiate. I researched how to perform weddings, and became certified. While I didn’t get to do hers, I realized I love seeing friends and family reunite at weddings, and I wanted to be a part of that. And so, all these years later, I’ve been doing my part to help bring people together.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I’ve worked with pretty much anyone looking to tie the knot.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
I got the opportunity to officiate some good friends from high school. I knew them both before they started dating, and I was there during every stage of their relationship. It was an honor to be able to help them seal the deal for life.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
It’s not all about price. If you don’t like the person performing your wedding, don’t hire them. The same goes for me! I won’t be offended if you don’t think I’m the right man for the job. You have to feel good about your officiant.
