Introduction

What makes me stand out as a wedding officiant? I bring the professionalism of a seasoned performer and the heart of someone who truly loves helping couples get married. With over 30 years of experience as an actor, writer, and event host, I know how to connect with people, create a joyful atmosphere, and deliver a ceremony that feels meaningful and personal. Whether you're planning a small elopement or a larger celebration, I make sure it’s done right. I specialize in non-religious, inclusive ceremonies that reflect your style, values, and timeline. I’m reliable, responsive, and easy to work with. My goal is to make your ceremony feel relaxed, joyful, and totally you. Based in Milwaukee and available throughout southeastern Wisconsin. Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
I offer three main packages: Quickie, Classic, and Original, each tailored to different needs and budgets. A non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your date and time. I’m happy to talk through options so you get exactly what you need without paying for extras you don’t.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
Once you reach out, we’ll go over your preferred date, location, and what kind of ceremony you’re looking for. After that, you’ll complete a short agreement and pay the deposit to confirm your booking. Depending on your package, we’ll meet on Zoom (or in person if you're local) to plan your ceremony details. I keep the process simple, clear, and fun from start to finish.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I am an ordained minister through the Universal Life Church and have officiated over 200 weddings across the country. I also have more than 30 years of experience as a professional actor, playwright, and host. That background helps me create ceremonies that feel polished, genuine, and joyful.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
It started when my sister asked me to officiate her wedding. I loved the experience so much that it quickly grew into a full-time calling. Since then, I’ve combined my skills as a performer and writer to help couples get married in ways that are personal, joyful, and completely stress-free.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I’ve worked with couples of all backgrounds, ages, and identities. Some plan big celebrations months in advance, while others reach out the same day. Whether it’s a formal ceremony or a quick elopement, I make sure everyone feels seen, supported, and celebrated.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
I love all of my ceremonies! You will too.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Choose someone who makes you feel comfortable and confident. Ask about their process, how they prepare, and how they handle surprises. Your officiant sets the tone for one of the most important parts of your day, so you want someone who listens to your needs and brings a calm, professional presence.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
It’s helpful to know what kind of ceremony you want and how soon you need it. Ask yourself things like: Do we want something short and simple, or more custom? What kind of vibe are we going for—romantic, lighthearted, or traditional? Where do we want the ceremony to happen? Once you have a few of these answers, I can help guide you to the best option.
