Introduction

Ordained minister will perform non-denominational weddings at any location. I’ll work with you to design a ceremony to meet you needs. Indoor or outdoor venues in Illinois, Indiana and Missouri within 125 miles of Effingham, IL. You only pay a non-refundable Booking Fee of $50 to hold the date, which must be paid within 7 days of hiring. Balance of Rehearsal and Ceremony fee will be due at Rehearsal. I truly enjoy watching the love that radiates from the couples. Being a Retired Social Worker, I still love helping people.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I require a $35.00, non-refundable, Booking Fee to hold the date for the project to guarantee that a double ceremony does not occur. Please send the Booking Fee within seven days of hiring Officiant. The fee for the ceremony depends on the distance, presence at Rehearsal and how entailed the ceremony.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Scheduling a Consultation as soon as possible to discuss the couple’s concerns and wishes regarding the ceremony.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have a Masters in Social Work and enjoy helping people.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

My brother has been an officiant for 15 years; he has shared his great experiences. Last year he broke his leg and had to cancel weddings, he was so unhappy for the couples having to secure another officiant.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

Valentines Day I performed an outdoor wedding, on a bridge over Miller Park Lake in Bloomington, IL. A cold but sunny day, unsure now if it was the sun or the love radiating from the couple.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

When meeting with the officiant, does he/she listen to your concerns and wishes.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Should my wedding not take place and I’ve paid total upfront will I get my money back? I return Rehearsal and Ceremony Fees; I keep the Booking Fee because I would have held that date for you and passed on other couples seeking my services.
