My services are personal and individualized. Being part of a couple's life as it is beginning on a sacred journey is so fulfilling for me. I love to connect with the inviduals I am working with on their own unique service. The quality of my services does not change whether you have 2 guests or 200 guests. In addition to being your wedding officiant, I also offer help with writing wedding vows. The vows will be unique to each couple. I do not use templates. I get to know the couple on a deeper level and help to craft the sacred words for this special and sacred day. I also take care of the wedding license for the couple. I mail it in for you and make sure it is filled out properly. I am here for you with whatever communication and questions you need. Unlimited phone calls and emails with me are included in your price.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I will say the same words for 2 people as for 200 people. I don't have a package A, B, or C. My price is based on distance. I have no limit on emails or phone conversations. No extra fees for completing and mailing in the marriage license.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I like to talk casually with prospective new clients. I want them to feel relaxed and especially feel free to tell me everything they are looking for in a wedding officiant. I want them to feel as if they are telling their history, a history they want to be known by the intimacy they share through their sacred words during their wedding service.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have a Ph.D. in Holistic Theology from The American Institute of Holistic Theology. I love to officiate weddings. I'm also a registered expressive art therapist so all of this enables me to be a well-rounded and down to earth Minister. I see my role in a life meaning event as a sacred shared moment with the people involved. I have the love for creating a one of kind individualize service for such an event, be it a wedding, baptism, funeral, pet blessing, house blessing, and other life meaningful events.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

As an ordained Minister and expressive art therapist, I see the connection of the arts and ministry individualized through my passion for the expressive arts of life.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I have worked with all types of individuals and from all over the United States. Couples wanting to get married in Chicago from out of state. I have worked with events that have been published in wedding magazines to couples just wanting a private service.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I officiated a couples vow renewal. It was very personal as I got to know this couple and discuss some of the challenges they had gone through. The service was a beautiful reaffirming commitment they both expressed which for me more couples need this. It enables you to celebrate the hurdle which all couples face.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Please talk to several Ministers and wedding officiants to see which person's style is a reflection of what you want the life service to represent. Don't get caught up in package A, B or C. One should not have to go greatly into debt to have a quality personalized service.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Try not to get stuck in a budget mindset especially for the role of Wedding Minister or officiant. What the role involves is limited, but doesn't mean it is less inspiring or personalized.
