Introduction

Hi! I’m Carly and my journey as an officiant is just beginning! I’ve been working with my best friend to officiate her wedding. As we have delved into the details of her ceremony I continuously am finding joy in creating the perfect story to showcase the love that I see in her relationship. With Curry Up and Get Married, that is my goal for each and every wedding that I officiate. I want to provide every couple with a unique and personalized experience in sharing their love. I’m honored to be a part of your journey, so let’s Curry Up and Get Married.

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
There is a non-refundable fee to book the event date with me. If you’d like me to attend the rehearsal it’s $50. The rest of the payment is due before the ceremony/signing of the license.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
My typical process for working with couples is a quick Get to Know You meeting to make sure we’re a good fit for each other! If we want to move forward in the process together the next meeting would be learning more about your love story and what you want your ceremony to be like. I can create a unique ceremony for you or you can tell me exactly what you’d like me to say! It’s your day:)

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
Finding the right officiant can be a difficult task. So why choose me? In my four years as a public educator, I’ve gained a variety of skills; such as, relationship building, conflict resolution, crisis management, public speaking, and even how to breathe when there’s a stressful situation. Other admirable skills include word play (peep my business name), awesome alliterations (for cute hashtags, etc.), and a continuous enjoyment of seeing others having a good time (is this a skill??). I love meeting all kinds of people and can’t wait to ~curry up~ and help you get married.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I am just starting out! I have the privilege of officiating for my best friend and her partner. We have had a virtual planning session where we discussed colors, vows, Bible verse/prayer/none, the vibe for the ceremony, and the options for a unity ceremony.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
What type of ceremony does the couple want? Will they have their own vows? Will the vows be shared privately or during the ceremony? Will there be a unity ceremony? What will the unity ceremony incorporate? Is there any specific Bible verse or prayer wanted during the ceremony? Do you want no mention of religion in the ceremony?
