What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

We use the money raised from providing officiant services to fund our faith, family and education outreach ministry. Please take a look at our website.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

First, we provide premarital counseling. We attend rehearsals and offer suggestions for best practices, while respecting the requests and direction of the marrying couple.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have attended many related courses and am assisted by the experience of more than 30 years working with others.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

Following a heart related health issue I became very invested in helping others with life threatening health issues. From that a Christian ministry was formed by several volunteers with varied backgrounds from business, education and counseling.

What types of customers have you worked with?

People from all ages and backgrounds.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I have been working with a youngster and his family that was born with a similar congenital heart defect to mine. Such work is rewarding.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Consider the memories you’re building. Make sure who you hire is liked and respected by both the bride and groom. It’s important to make sure it’s someone that’ll be a warm smile of a memory for years to come rather than just an officiant.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

If it’s marriage be honest. Learn to communicate. Define expectations. I’ll do my best to help.
