Introduction

Congratulations! Hi there, I'm Kevin. I've partnered with Wedding Wishlist to offer you, my services. I've been ordained under American Marriage Ministries in Missouri since 2016 and would love the opportunity to marry or re-marry you and your significant other at your upcoming event. Whether your event will be small and intimate or a grand event, we work together to personalize your ceremony, regardless of religion or faith. We perform civil, non-denominational and themed ceremonies at the location of your choice. As your wedding officiant, my promise to you is to listen and learn your story and then work closely together with you and your fiancé to make your ceremony not only memorable but meaningful. Contact us today for more information or to learn about our available packages.

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
Pricing is based on what fits your needs, is your wedding short and simple, do you need me at the rehearsal, there are a couple different variables that determine your price. Our packages range from $200-$350 and include events within a 40-mile radius of St. Louis. Travel Fees May Apply

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
First things first, we learn about who you are, when your event is, where your event is, what your ideas are surrounding your ceremony and which package best fits your needs. We then have a contract that we'll mutually sign and the planning process begins. We'll schedule a time to meet in person and/or start coordinating over the phone or through email. We'll keep in contact leading up to your big day and confirm timelines and details again before your big day.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
Real Life Experience! I've officiated numerous weddings and what I love most about it is getting to learn each couple and their unique story and since each couple and story is different from the last it keeps things exciting and allows my creative side to shine in different lights.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
A great friend of mine was getting married. He asked me if I'd officiate his wedding. I was honored that he asked and of course, I said yes. That's when I decided to become ordained. After that ceremony and how well it all went, I fell in love with the idea of doing it again and again at other weddings. While I'm not the best at marketing myself and still have a full-time teaching position, I partnered with Denise at Wedding Wishlist to help with all of that.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
All sorts of them, from the couple that just wants simple vows read to couples that want me to dress up as a character for their themed event. Couples of faith, couples that are non-religious, LGBQ, couples that have got married in a fancy, luxury venue and couples that have got married in the middle of nowhere. We don't discriminate.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
Russell and Mary Caitlyn, they just got married in November of 2022. They were so fun and so down to earth. We worked together for a few months leading up to their event and every bit of it was wonderful. They left me a raving review after the wedding on our Google page too!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Get to know your officiant too, while there's a lot of questions that will come to you, it's important that you learn more about who it is that will actually be coming to your wedding, in your pictures, on video (if you have a videographer) and who will be up there representing you. You and your officiant should be a perfect match too.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Try to narrow down the basics as soon as you can, the date, location and timeline. Even if it's not exact, the more information you can provide ahead of time the easier it is for not just me but, for all your vendors.
