As a Pastor, I love helping couples experience an exceptional wedding and a fulfilling marriage! I would be happy to plan the perfect ceremony tailored to suit your needs. There are 8 billion individuals in the world. If you found your soulmate in all those people, I want to hear your story and help you tell it! While I would love to work with you, please check my pricing below before requesting my availability. Thumbtack charges me $20+ if you reach out to me, and I want to be sure you are aware of my prices. I am not the cheapest, but I am one of the best! Here's why: I am an ordained minister, and I have officiated hundreds of weddings in North Carolina and South Carolina, and can do so in most any state. I have an easy personality, and I am pleasant to work with (even my wife agrees😊). I have a great sense of humor, and I respond quickly and communicate well. I am punctual and keep my word, to the best of my ability. If you wish to have a non-religious service, I am open to your vision. I will listen and create a service that fulfills but does not offend. Once you request my availability, I will send you specific pricing for your wedding and a link to set up a “no pressure” Zoom or FaceTime call. I can even meet in person if you prefer. None of this obligates you to hire me, but it allows both of us to see if we are a good fit for each other. I normally charge $300 to do a wedding. This includes most travel and all consultations. I charge $350 for weddings and rehearsals as I have to drive to the venue twice. If my pricing is a problem for you, just talk to me! Once you hire me, I can assist you with every step of your planning to create the perfect script and make your day memorable. Whether you want a simple ceremony in your home due or a large traditional wedding, I am well-equipped to make sure your day is everything you hoped it would be. I look forward to hearing from you!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I charge $250-$300 (depending on the circumstances) for the wedding only (includes meetings, resources, and travel). Counseling is also available, with pricing dependent on the circumstances. $300-$400 for wedding and rehearsal.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

If you are interested I would be happy to answer any questions by phone or text. We can also schedule a meeting or meet by Zoom or Facetime. There is no pressure and I want you to be completely confident and comfortable with me. After you secure me as your officiant I am available to help plan any parts of your ceremony.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I am a local pastor with a Doctorate in ministry and over 3 decades of experience. I have training in counseling and I have officiated hundreds of weddings.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I have been an ordained pastor for over 30 years. Weddings were just part of my job. As I enjoyed doing them I decided to expand beyond the circle of our immediate church family and help couples all over fulfill their dreams.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I have done formal weddings in large churches and intimate ceremonies outdoors with everything in between. I have done black tie weddings and weddings in camouflage! Whatever is needed to make your day unforgettable is my passion!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Find an officiant who is experienced and passionate. Look for dependability. Ensure that they listen to your vision and are willing to work with you to create your perfect wedding ceremony and not just a cookie cutter service. Find those who respond quickly and follow through on their commitments.
