Introduction

I make your ceremony a highlight of your special day! Each event is special and should have its own design. I provide marriages, handfastings, and non-denominational services that are designed to meet your needs in the Triad area of NC and beyond. I cater to all races, sexual orientations, and religious preferences. I have been providing clerical service since 1998. As ordained clergy, all payments are honorariums. Discounts are available for educators, first responders, and military active or retired personnel. I help you decide what parts of your special day you want and create a ceremony that is as unique and individual as you are.

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
This depends on the venue and the breath of the ceremony. The minimum is $175 fee within a 35-mile radius of Waukesha, WI.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
We have a brief telephone discussion to review the request and the details of the event. Then set an in-person meeting to review details and make sure the ceremony details are tailored to the couple's wants and needs. During the pandemic, this can also be done by video chat, Apple Facetime, or Android Duo.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
Ph.D. in Religious Education. Federally Legally Ordained in multiple belief systems and have successfully performed 100's of ceremonies across the nation.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I love people and love seeing the happy couple's faces when I proclaim "you are married."I have spent many years of study both from family, formal education, and clergy education. I have a doctorate in religious education from ASA Seminary.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
My customers come from all walks of life, beliefs, sexual orientation, etc. I support the LGBTQ community. I have worked with many different ethnic and cultural couples and am well versed in helping to meld diverse beliefs.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
One of my fondest was a ceremony that included the blending of families. The children were included in the ceremony which was functional and cute. The marriage vows include special vows for the new father to his new children. Very moving.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Make sure the ceremony is custom-made to your needs. Many will just use a cookie-cutter approach to your special day. My personal approach is each ceremony is custom-made to the couple's wants and needs. I listen to your needs and wants
