What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I offer straightforward pricing. My fee is $350 for weddings in the Charlotte/ Concord region. If outside of the Charlotte or Concord area there is a mileage fee. The fee doesn’t include rehearsal but if you hire me I’ll be happy assist with the rehearsal for a small additional fee.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

We'll have a conversation by text, email or phone about what you're looking for in your ceremony and for you to determine whether I'm a good fit to do your ceremony. Then sign the contract and pay deposit. (half of the $350 fee)

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I’ve been a professional speaker for over 10 years and I’ve spent my adult life in pursuing the study of rhetoric. Additionally, my mother and father are both ministers and that has afforded me the best role models for officiating weddings. As a result of their teachings, I’ve been standing up to speak in various forums since I was an adolescent.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

In 2018, I officiated my sister-in-laws wedding. After that wedding, I recieved such an outpouring of LOVE and support that I continued to officiate weddings by referrals. I've been officiating weddings ever since.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I recently married a young couple whose love sparked during a chance meeting. She contacted a pest control company and he was her Pest Control Exterminator savior. A chance meeting sparked a romance and a romance sparked a marriage. Needless to say, the sparks have been flying ever since. It was an excellent reminder that love is ubiquitous.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

I would recommend that you review the various wedding officiants, contact the one that based on his or her profile that’s meets your needs and go for it. This is your big day so take the time you need to find someone that is the best fit for you.
