What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

WEDDINGS SCHEDULED FOR 2022-23 $300 for wedding only (includes meet-ups, resources); add $50 for 100miles+ Add $100 if you need me at your rehearsal SOME WEEKDAY WEDDINGS are eligible for even more discounts

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

If you are at all interested, I would be happy to either answer any questions you have, over text, or we could have a Zoom or FaceTime call or schedule a meet up. There's no pressure. I want you to be comfortable and confident that I am a good fit for you. I will provide you with an easy online way of securing me as your wedding officiant. At that point, I am available to you to help plan any parts of your ceremony. I am available to you for pre-marriage counseling, if you request. As a senior pastor, with a masters degree in counseling and 29 years of being married, I would love to be an encouragement and a resource for you.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I am a local church pastor. I have graduate degrees (Master's of Divinity and Counseling). I am trained in pre and post marital counseling of couples. I stay up to date on resources available to couples. I take advantage of incredible continuing education training throughout the year. I have officiated over 1200 weddings

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I was a youth pastor for 16 years. During that time, many of those teenagers grew up and met someone that they wanted to marry. I officiated tons of their weddings and I loved it.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I offer Zoom/FaceTime calls, plus at your request I can meet with you for pre-marriage counseling. I can meet with you to plan out your ceremony with you. I can officiate your wedding ceremony. I can officiate your renewal of vows. As a counselor, I offer pre-marriage counseling. I offer marriage counseling. I can refer you to some really good local churches.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Look for dependability. Someone who listens to your vision. Someone who can step into any environment with confidence and quickly make relational connections. Someone who cares about you. Someone who responds quickly and wisely to your requests and follows through on their commitment. Someone who is articulate, engaging and flexible. Someone who has integrity and can work with all kinds of people.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

I am head over heels in love with my wife. Jenny and I were married May 29, 1993. We have a great and healthy marriage. I am so proud of our four kids: Cole, Noah, Sara and Jake. I love being a pastor, care-coach, counselor and wedding officiant.
