What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

First, we'll set up a meeting, either via phone or virtually, to get to know each other and discuss your vision for the big day. I'll help you customize your ceremony, offering suggestions and options to make it uniquely yours. From there, we'll handle all the legal paperwork and guide you through the rehearsal, ensuring your wedding day is nothing short of magical.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

As an ordained minister, we are licensed to officiate weddings.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

Becoming a wedding officiant was a no-brainer for me because, honestly, I’m head over heels for the idea that couples still hold marriage in such high regard. Seeing two people who are totally smitten with each other and ready to take on the world together as best friends and partners just melts my heart.🥰 Being the one who gets to guide them through that journey, from “I do” to happily ever after, fills me with sooo much joy. It’s like being a part of their love story AND helping to write the most magical chapter of their lives. There’s nothing quite like the feeling of seeing their eyes light up as they say those vows! It’s really surreal.😍

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

Recently, I had the privilege of officiating a vow renewal ceremony for a couple celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary. In our initial consultation, they conveyed their desire for a ceremony that was light-hearted, slightly romantic, and rooted in their Christian beliefs. With total creative freedom, I used the elements of their initial meeting and designed a ceremony that seamlessly balanced both romance and religion, all while maintaining a "light-hearted" tone. The couple was overjoyed during the rehearsal, and on the actual day, the ceremony REALLY came to life. I think I smiled as hard as the couple the ENTIRE time I was officiating the ceremony. The guest loved it and erupted in cheers once we reannounced the couple. It was probably one of my favorite ceremonies that I conducted!
