Introduction

Featured In: The New York Times, The Zoe Report, Carats and Cake, Wedding Chicks, Style Me Pretty. The ceremony is the only conversation on your wedding day that you can control. I am a wedding officiant and passionate storyteller and I've had the honor of officiating over 200 weddings since starting my company three years ago. Your ceremony will have a cinematic quality to it, taking your guests through your unique story, from your first interaction, your first date, the moment you knew it was love; the simple moments you share together and the adventures you’ve had traveling the world, up to the moment of the proposal. My words will paint a story of the two of you individually, including your respective family histories, and now the life you’re building together. I choose my words wisely, sharply, passionately, intentionally, and joyfully. Let me choose some for you.

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
My pricing is based on the writing involved in the ceremony. My "Full Ceremony" package includes a customized ceremony with a love story, an opportunity to personally honor your families, handwritten vows, and recommended readings and rituals. The "Elopement" package is a simple yet meaningful ceremony with standard vows, ring exchange, and readings. Both include the signing and filing of the license and any necessary follow-up with the City Clerk. We can also add customization according to your vision!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
First we'll schedule an introductory Zoom call to get to know each other and make sure our values align. I'll learn details about the wedding and a bit about your love story. From there, I'll send you a contract and a ceremony outline with personalized questions to learn more about your journey together and your family histories. We'll set a few dates to keep us on track and so that you'll know when to expect the first draft of your ceremony. Then we'll edit the ceremony collaboratively until we're met with a final copy ahead of the wedding. On your wedding day, I always arrive at least an hour early to connect with you and your vendor team. The narration of your ceremony will be measured and impactful. There will be laughter and tears as your guests are met with a joint feeling of appreciation for what they are witnessing. I'll file the license on your behalf and will follow-up with the city clerk as necessary!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I studied International Business, Fashion, and Spanish in college, allowing my an understanding of different cultures and a fluency in Spanish. I have always been a writer and have been published for my creative writing during my 13 years in NYC. I worked as an assistant wedding planner for 5 years and also worked in Marketing for a wedding dress designer for 2 years. I love this industry and am passionate about using my talent to craft beautiful ceremonies for couples and their guests!
