Introduction

I desire to have a personal connection with the couples that I serve. I do my best to customize the ceremony to the couple so that it is memorable and meaningful. I take a relaxed but intentional approach. Though I do not require it, I am happy to provide premarital counseling for each couple. Marriage is amazing and wonderful but not something to take lightly. Finally, I love people and enjoy meeting and getting to know any and all that I come in contact with. As a pastor, I love the people and the opportunity to serve them. I thoroughly enjoy preaching/speaking. Weddings, baptisms, baby dedications are a highlight of my job. Celebrating these important milestones with people is amazing. I enjoy leading people as a church, as individuals and as families.

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
All inclusive. Premarital counseling will be additional if requested.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
I like to meet with the couple ahead of time if possible in person or via FaceTime or Zoom. This allows us to “break the ice” and for me to hear their story. Talk through the ceremony, order, expectations, music, length of ceremony etc. Will do premarital counseling upon request. This will add to the price. I will help find a location if needed. I will do all I can to help make the couple’s wedding meaningful and memorable.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
Absolutely. Masters level courses. Conferences. Reading books and articles. Listening to podcasts of leaders in my field.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
As a pastor, I was called/chosen by God to serve and live as a pastor.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
I would recommend a licensed and ordained pastor as opposed to an "internet pastor". Look for someone who cares about you and about marriage and the value and importance of marriage in a relationship and in our society.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
It is a profession that requires education prior to serving and ministry, and that I am expected to be a life-long learner. I take this call and career very seriously and my life and my families life become very interwoven in the lives of the people I/we pastor.
