Introduction

I work with couples to bring them the perfect wedding ceremony- small and intimate or big and bold...my philosophy of “Love is Love” means a very special and unique event. Whether it is a marriage ceremony, commitment ceremony, or vow renewal, you will receive stellar service and full personal attention. I spend time getting to know you both, gleaning the little details that will help me write the most personal and heartfelt ceremony. Your ceremony will be as unique as you are; I don’t just read a boilerplate wedding ceremony out of a book. And I’m intrepid - I’ve even performed a wedding ceremony in a hot air balloon! Licensed and ordained Universal Life Church minister . LGBTQ-friendly. I look forward to working with you!

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
I charge $300 flat fee / no mileage or hidden charges. This includes any and all discussions, meetings, phone consultations, draft-to-final wedding ceremony, wedding rehearsal (if any) and anything else required for the completion of your ceremony. I also give the couple a very nice commemorative copy of their vows to keep, suitable for framing.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
An initial phone consultation, then an in-person meeting to discuss details. More meetings as needed. And I am always available for phone calls!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
Online course, extensive reading and many, many weddings!

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I was a wedding planner for a few years but really loved the ceremony part the most. I got ordained as a Universal Life minister and began doing the ceremonies as an officiant.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
Young couples, middle aged couples, same-sex couples. First, second and third weddings, vow renewals, commitment ceremonies. In other words, everyone!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Make sure the provider will design the ceremony to your specifications. This is your day and you want it to be perfect!

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Are you having pets involved in the ceremony? (Seriously). Blended family…who will participate? Are you looking for something more traditional or completely quirky?
