What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

My pricing is far below other officiant pricing. For an intern minister or retired judge, you may be charged up to $300 to $500 or more for an experienced church minister or a professional officiant. The national average cost for a pastor or priest to officiate a wedding in 2016 is $278 according to The Knot.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Meeting/calling prior to ceremony, emailing ceremony structure and vows if needed. Attending rehearsal if needed.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I am a retired Special Education Teacher therefore standing and talking in front of people is not an issue.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

My niece is getting remarried and wanted someone in the family to unite them, so I stepped up. Hence, I just did her sons wedding as you can see in the pictures.

What types of customers have you worked with?

Traditional, mostly. I am willing to try other areas

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Willingness to travel to you. Does that person have a reliable vehicle to get him/her to the wedding on time, no matter how far it is to drive?

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Are we writing our own vows? Are we willing to speak in front of close friends and relatives my true feelings? Are we using an unity candle or sand during our ceremony? Is there any other specialty that we can add to the ceremony?
