My Process for Working with New Couples 💍 Once you book your special date with me, we’ll schedule a consultation to go over a detailed questionnaire and all the ceremony preferences. This helps me get to know you both and understand the unique vision for your big day. I’ll then create a personalized ceremony script—and custom vows, if requested—crafted just for you. You’ll have the opportunity to review and make edits, with unlimited revisions available up to the day before your ceremony. Throughout the process, you’ll have unlimited contact with me to ensure everything feels just right. On your wedding day, I will perform the ceremony, sign your marriage license, and return it to the appropriate county the same day to avoid any delays. Two weeks after your ceremony, I follow up to confirm that you’ve received your certified copy of the marriage license. I kindly request that you send me a photo of the certified copy for my legal records. I’m with you every step of the way—from “Yes!” to “I Do”… and beyond. 💕

I am ordained through both Universal Life Church (ULC) and American Marriage Ministries (AMM), and I’ve completed officiant training through both organizations. I also have a strong background in writing and public speaking, which helps me create personalized scripts and deliver ceremonies with confidence and warmth. I’m very comfortable guiding couples through their special moment and making sure it feels authentic, meaningful, and smooth from start to finish.

I used to see someone regularly posting about officiating weddings, and it really stuck with me. I thought about it for over a year before finally deciding to get ordained—and I’m so glad I did! Since then, I’ve had the honor of officiating all kinds of weddings, from simple “Sign & Go” ceremonies to deeply personal celebrations. I absolutely love the feelings and emotions that surround me at weddings. There’s something magical about the joy, the love, and the energy in the air—it gives me such a wonderful feeling and truly makes me happy. Every couple has their own unique love story, and I feel so honored to learn about each one and be a part of their new beginning.

I’ve had the joy of working with a wide variety of couples—young and old, from different ethnicities, cultures, and backgrounds. I’ve officiated weddings in all kinds of settings: backyards, parks, venues, living rooms, and everything in between. Some ceremonies have been lighthearted and fun (including a Halloween-themed wedding!), while others have been deeply spiritual or traditional. I love adapting to each couple’s unique style and creating a ceremony that reflects who they are and what matters most to them.

One recent experience that really stood out to me was Mark and Charlotte’s wedding in April. I had the honor of not only officiating their ceremony but also helping coordinate the entire event. I worked closely with Charlotte’s mother to set up the ceremony space, decorate the reception area, organize the food, and arrange the gift and memory tables. It took many hours of preparation and hands-on help throughout the day, but I truly loved every minute of it. Seeing Mark and Charlotte so happy and in love made it all completely worth it. Being able to contribute to such a special moment in so many ways was incredibly rewarding.

Choose an officiant with experience, someone who’s comfortable with public speaking and can adapt to both large weddings and smaller, intimate ceremonies. They should know the flow of a ceremony—including stepping aside during the pronouncement so your first photo as a married couple is just the two of you. Most importantly, your officiant should truly believe in love and commitment. They should take the time to work with you to create a ceremony that reflects your unique love story and honors the meaning of the moment. It’s not just about reading a script—it’s about helping bring your vision to life and making it unforgettable.
