Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
My pricing is straightforward: one flat rate covers our consultation, the ceremony, and a choice of sample scripts. If you want help writing vows or want me at the rehearsal, those are optional add-ons. No surprise fees. Just transparency and flexibility.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
We'll start with a quick conversation to understand what you're envisioning—religious, secular, fun, formal, or something completely offbeat. Then I’ll provide sample scripts, answer questions, and customize the ceremony to fit your vibe. I show up early, I come prepared, and I keep things on track.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I'm a fully ordained officiant through the Universal Life Church and have experience speaking publicly, leading events, and adapting ceremonies for all types of couples and settings.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
It started with a close friend asking me to officiate their wedding—and it just clicked. I enjoyed making it personal, authentic, and meaningful. Since then, I’ve been honored to be a part of many couples’ big days.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
Couples from all walks of life—religious, non-religious, traditional, modern, and everything in between. I’ve done backyard weddings, banquet halls, breweries—you name it.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Find someone who listens more than they talk. Your officiant should bring structure and experience, but the ceremony still needs to sound and feel like you. Don't settle for generic.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Think about tone: Do you want your ceremony to be emotional, lighthearted, spiritual, or something else? Also, who do you want involved—family, friends, pets? And is there anything off-limits? That helps me craft something that’s true to you.
