Hello! My name is Angela and I’ve been a wedding officiant since 2015. Having performed dozens of ceremonies (weddings, vow renewals and commitments), I can honestly say that this work has been hugely rewarding! I’ve met some of the most wonderful people and it’s refreshing to celebrate love!! I had a previous Thumbtack account but it became compromised. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Basic pricing is $225 but with mileage and add ins- it can be a bit more.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Text, email, meet in person, get some great info and create a fabulous ceremony! Working together up to and on the day of the wedding to make sure it happens the way they want it to happen!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I’ve been officiating weddings, commitment ceremonies and vow renewals since 2015! I’ve done over 25 events, each one unique and fabulous in its own right! I Love LOVE!

How did you get started doing this type of work?

My Niece was getting married and my Son got married right after- I officiated both of those weddings! It’s so much fun!

What types of customers have you worked with?

The ones who are ready for their new life together and are ready to do the work to make that happen!!

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

Every wedding, whether a quick elopement or a huge, well planned affair, is special. The most important part of each wedding is the bride and groom and what this day means to THEM!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Meet your officiant in person! Make sure your personalities match and that your Officiant really hears you!

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Budgetary concerns, mileage, time constraints, whether to involve children in the ceremony, how to respond to super emotions and how to take a step back and ENJOY!
