What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

My pricing will depend on the time of day, distance to be driven and day of the week. I give a 20% military discount for anyone still serving. Pricing STARTS at $245.00 (Weekday late morning or early afternoon within 30 miles.)

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I like to set up a phone interview with the bride and groom to discuss ceremony style, additional elements if any and location. I always send a sample ceremony with options for different parts of the ceremony to help each couple create a ceremony that fits their personality and preferences.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I was on staff as an associate pastor for ten years in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I have had the pleasure of being an officiant at very young couples first time weddings to assisting couples in their 80's who were once high school sweethearts and met again after full-filled marriages where their spouses had both passed away. I have officiated at churches, Tennessee mountaintops, cliffs, waterfalls, Palm Beach mansions and on the beach. I have also officiated for well-known celebrities.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

It was such a pleasure meeting, interviewing and celebrating with an older couple that had not been together since high school - more than fifty years ago. I heard them tell stories about their lives and how situations and events brought them back to each other. It was so inspirational that I wrote a song about it and sang it at their wedding.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Don't hire your wedding officiant based on their price alone. This is one of the most important days of your lives together. Find someone with experience who will spend time getting to know you both, be willing to cater the ceremony to your needs and desires and make it memorable!

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

I highly recommend pre-marital guidance and offer that as well. Here we ask practical questions that most people do not think of until years into their marriage. This is a great way to ward off future problems of "I didn't know you felt that way."
