Introduction

My name is Greg B. Cornett and I am an official court-appointed civil marriage commissioner serving Northeast Tennessee, Southwest Virginia and Western North Carolina. I specialize in officiating non-religious elopements & small intimate wedding ceremonies but I have experience with large weddings with all the trappings as well. My goal is to make sure you and your partner have a special, memorable day and that your guests feel welcome and comfortable. I OFFER A DISCOUNT FOR SMALL, LOCAL CEREMONIES (AROUND THE TRI-CITIES TENNESSEE AREA) People come from around the world to take in the beauty of our area and there are many wonderful spots where you can get married. I can assist with vows if you'd like. Please visit my Google Business page (Greg Cornett Wedding Officiant) where I have received OVER 300 5-STAR REVIEWS :) I am very proud that couples have been happy for choosing me. LGBTQ+ friendly

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
To arrive on a price, we will talk about the location of the ceremony, whether it's a small, simple ceremony or a more complex event with groomsmen, bridesmaids, etc. I also offer advice on vows, if necessary.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
I'll make sure you know the process of getting a wedding license and then we can talk about the wedding date and where you'd like to have the ceremony.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I am appointed by the State of Virginia and credentialed in Tennessee to perform weddings. My ceremonies are non-religious in nature.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
My girlfriend's daughter wanted to get married in 2021 and asked if I would perform the ceremony. I researched what I would need to.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
On what date should we get married? What is the size of our wedding party? How do we choose a venue? What vows should we use? Do I need assistance to make sure everything goes well?
