Introduction

I specialize in customizing ceremonies to the needs and preferences of each unique couple. The idea is to make the ceremony a collaboration between the couple and myself to truly make it reflective of who they are. Basic simple ceremonies are available as well. I also recommend you check out my website for more information about me and the services I provide. Pricing for different wedding packages is listed on the website, or contact me for information. Elopement Ceremonies start at $120, full wedding ceremonies at $175. Feel free to check out my reviews on Thumbtack. Rev. Jackie I really like helping couples to design the ceremony of their dreams- that has special meaning for them, and that reflects who they are as a couple. I also enjoy researching different customs/traditions/trends to provide unique ceremony ideas.

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
Pricing is set up into different levels of wedding packages so that the customer gets exactly the services they do need and are not paying for services that they do not need or want. Note- there is a mileage/travel fee for distances exceeding 50 miles round trip. Elopement Ceremonies start at $120

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
I try to ascertain their needs and preferences through my use of a consultation form, followed by either phone or in person consultations.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
Bachelor of Divinity, Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, specialized officiant training, and 15 years of experience as a wedding officiant.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I had several national bridal websites/officiant providers contact me to see if I would be interested in officiating ceremonies locally for them. My spiritual advisor/mentor encouraged me to begin focusing on weddings, and I received training from her. Previous to this I had been doing classes and workshops on a variety of spiritual topics, and had served as a spiritual counselor. I found I loved performing weddings!

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I work with all types of customers. I provide many different types of ceremonies; religious/protestant, non-religious, traditional, non-traditional, non-denominational, and interfaith. I have done ceremonies with just the Bride and Groom up to elaborate venues and 250 guests.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
I work on ceremonies from 2 days to 1 year prior to wedding based on customers preferences.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Find out how much experience they have, if they are comfortable with the type of ceremony you are looking for, and determine how flexible they are to meet your needs/requests.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Questions about their experience and expertise, how they prefer to work with the couple and their communication style/frequency with the clients. Also questions about working in collaboration with couples, how open they are to input from clients, and there comfort level with your type of ceremony.
