Introduction

Hello, I am Rev. Edward Vaughan. I love meeting new people and I love performing weddings. I work with couples to create the ceremony they have always envisioned. No matter what kind of wedding you are looking for: Christian, spiritual, or non-religious, I can tailor a ceremony to your wishes. It's "Your ceremony your way!" Weddings are an uplifting experience. It is an honor being a part of a couple's special day and I want them to have a day they will always remember. I am passionate about my work and I think that comes through. For me, this is not just a service it is a sacred ceremony. Please let me know if I can be of assistance to you.

Elopement Wedding; short ceremony with just the couple to make it legal is $120 For small weddings: please ask for a quote. Formal Wedding: larger number of attendees at a formal venue is $200 Rehearsals are $65-if not on the same day as the ceremony. Same day rehearsal is no charge. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
I meet with them in person, if possible, by phone or by Zoom or Skype and we discuss what they want for their ceremony. I then create a wedding script to meet their needs. I call them prior to the wedding (usually the week of) to make sure everything is going as planned.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I have degrees in history, business, and theology. Experience in performing hundreds of wedding ceremonies

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I started performing weddings for friends, family, and acquaintances shortly after being ordained as an Anglican priest in 2013. I enjoyed doing them so much that I decided to advertise my services. To me it is a great honor to be a part of a couple's wedding day. I love performing weddings and meeting new people. It is a very uplifting and life affirming experience for me.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
Couples from 18 to 80, never married or divorced couples remarrying. I have met a lot of fantastic people along the way that I have been fortunate to help on their special day.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
Every wedding is like a child. Each one is unique in its own way. I have enjoyed all of them. One wedding in particular I was asked by the couple to assist them with planning since they were doing a lot of the work themselves and on a small budget. I was able to help them with the cake, venue, and arrangements for the food. I assured them all would work out and it all came together beautifully.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Let the wedding officiant know exactly what you want for your ceremony. Don't be afraid to ask questions and make sure you are comfortable working with them. I would just add give me the opportunity to work with you and you won't be disappointed.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Knowing how you want your wedding ceremony to be will make it a lot easier turn that into a reality. Planning ahead is a must for a formal wedding. Relax and enjoy the process. Everything always works out in the end.
