Introduction

I provide a superior quality service - it's personal and it's unique for you. Just ask the staff of the Marty Leonard Community Chapel, A&M Gardens, The Orchard Venue, and Hollow Hill Event Center. I am on all the approved and preferred vendors lists at all these venues. I perform wedding ceremonies at any venue in the area and my English accent is a ceremony favorite that can make your day even more special. Meeting and working with people at one of the best moments in their lives is fantastic and I love helping to plan and make it great. I have several Thumbtack awards for Top Pro and also for being a Silver and Gold Status Pro (and yes, I am a 'senior') over the more recent years. Please ask about discounts for Military and First Responder in uniform for the ceremony. I also offer a lower priced option for those opting to become married at home with just a handful of guests in attendance. Thank you.

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
It's fixed price (no hard to understand menu of prices). All include my time at a rehearsal.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
Exchange of messages using email, text, phone calls. Then meetings.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
Apart from more than a decade of performing outstanding ceremonies in the DFW area, I am an ordained minister.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
After attending a friends wedding where the officiant was stumbling over words and didn't present himself with any degree of authority, I knew from experience that I could do better. I started to focus on weddings and am now a mainstay in the area performing at least 60 ceremonies each year.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
For me, its all about the wedding ceremony itself. I write and edit the text, help organize, and perform the ceremony. From the point at which the procession starts to the time you walk out as a married couple - that's all down to me.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
A large wedding at the Marty Leonard Chapel in Fort Worth comes to mind. Two people and a party of 20 bridesmaids and groomsmen. I organized all of the ceremony, procession and recession as well as rehearsed everything and wrote the text for the ceremony with the couple's input. Everything was perfect yet it was just a normal wedding for me.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
A wedding is a special event, so make sure you meet with your vendors in person and if they are happy to meet with you several times (as I am), it is so much better... as it's way too late to meet them for the first time on the big day itself.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
TIME IS PRECIOUS. Lets get everything done and completed more than a month BEFORE the ceremony if at all possible - you don't want to worry about things like the vows when the dress and cake should be top of the list.
