Introduction

Hi, my name is Brad Wright. Delighted to be a part of your special day! I tailor my remarks to you, I take each wedding as a personal obligation. I believe in quality over quantity; if you're looking for someone with hundreds of weddings then I might not be for you. I give each couple my full attention and am very selective about the weddings I perform. Religious, non-religious. I am not fluent in Spanish but I can perform your ceremony in Spanish if so desired. Utah and Salt Lake Valleys, and beyond. Let me know what your thoughts are on your ceremony and we’ll make it happen. 20% discount for military/veterans and first responders!

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
$175 in Utah County, $225 in Salt Lake County, $275+ beyond that depending on distance. 20% discount for military/veterans and first responders. Once we have agreed I will officiate your wedding, I request at least a 30% deposit to reserve the date.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
Get to know the couple, hear their plans, make sure I am a good fit for their wedding. Once we have agreed I will be their officiant, it's nice to meet in person or Zoom at least once so we can get to know each other. Couples I marry are like family to me.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
Ordained by American Marriage Ministries, 2017. Experienced in public speaking. Many years of life experience, religious and otherwise. I have been many places and communicated with many different people of all backgrounds.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
WIth a desire to help couples begin their life together. It is a needed service and I am happy to be able to provide it.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
The best!

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
A wedding at our home. My wife's brother and his long-time girlfriend finally tied the knot! Very small ceremony with just a few friends and family (in our living room), as well as others joined via Zoom. The ceremony was in Spanish as neither bride nor groom speaks fluent English and their family is in Colombia. Beautiful day, beautiful experience.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Read profiles and choose carefully. If you have a specific type of officiant in mind then look for the one who will fit your plans. Don't choose multiple officiants and wait to see who responds first. Go for quality over quantity, it doesn’t matter if there has been one wedding or hundreds. The ceremony comes from the heart. Each wedding, just like each person, is different. No two are alike. I tailor my portion of your wedding to YOU.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Who do I want to be the focus of the wedding, the happy couple or the officiant? The officiant should be a very small though important part of the wedding, primarily there to make it all legal. Anything other than that is fluff. You decide what type of ceremony you envision and plan accordingly.
