Introduction

For over 13 years I have been helping couples with customized wedding ceremonies that are stress free and beautiful. I work with my couples to determine their style and story so I can craft a perfect ceremony to fit them as a couple. Whether it will be all your friends and family or just the two of you, let me help make your big day as special as it deserves to be. I perform religious and non-religious, interfaith and same-sex ceremonies based on my couples’ preferences. I have options available for Elopements, Full Weddings and Vow Renewals and travel anywhere in Virginia and North Eastern North Carolina.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I have (6) packages that include a Quick Sign (for couples just looking to have their marriage made official/legal), an Elopement Service (for couples looking for a short, scripted service), a Bronze Wedding Service (for couples having guests, a bridal party, etc. but still looking for a fairly scripted ceremony), a Silver Wedding Service (for couples who want the full wedding experience but don't need to meet in person or have a rehearsal), a Gold Wedding Service (for couples who want a full service, to meet with me in person and wish for me to attend/run a rehearsal for them) and a Platinum Wedding Service (includes all of the Gold items plus (2) pre-marriage counseling sessions). There is also a small travel fee for weddings outside of Virginia Beach/Norfolk/Chesapeake.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I try to answer as many questions and provide as much info as I can prior to booking. Once booked, I work with the couple to get whatever info is needed from the for the selected service and communicate with them throughout the process to be sure they are comfortable and confident.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have been an officiant and public speaker for over 13 years and am an ordained (non-denominational) pastor.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I started doing weddings while on staff at a local church and fell in love with everything wedding related. I have been doing them ever since.

What types of customers have you worked with?

Couples getting married :) - but seriously, I am open to work with any couple to help make their special day everything it deserves to be.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Look for someone that fits your style. There are some great officiants in the Hampton Roads area, but not each one is perfect for every couple. Don’t be afraid to ask for an intro call to feel them out and see if they fit what you are looking for.
