My quotes are based on distance traveled, time frame of ceremony, and rehearsal options.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Consultation with the couple to get to know them and learn their needs and desires for their Christian wedding ceremony. Directing a rehearsal if needed. Performing their wedding ceremony in an appropriate and effective manner.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Almost forty years in pastoral ministry with a seminary degree (Master of Divinity). I have officiated hundreds of Christian wedding ceremonies.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

The call of God was on my life. I became a pastor and performing weddings came with the territory. After almost forty years, performing Christian wedding ceremonies has become a part of who I am.

What types of customers have you worked with?

Heterosexual couples who are looking for a Christian wedding. I am authorized to perform wedding ceremonies in VA, MD, DC, WV, and PA as well as various other states.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Take the opportunity to really make your wedding your own. Look for someone with plenty of experience in performing Christian weddings and renewal ceremonies who can make that happen for you. Make sure to ask if the wedding officiant is authorized to perform ceremonies for the state in which your ceremony will be held.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

What style of wedding ceremony do they want? What would they like the officiant to wear? Are there any special features they desire to be incorporated into their ceremony? Do they need a rehearsal?
