Introduction

Many thanks to the more than 300 couples that have chosen CEREMONIES BY SAGE through Thumbtack over the past 6 years. Also, many thanks to those couples that have contacted me directly through referrals. Each wedding ceremony was as unique as their love. Please refer to the many 5-star reviews from my couples. Personal consultation with each couple provides unique and bespoke ceremonies. Specialized ceremonies have included: hand fasting, unity candle, sand rite, jumping the broom and the beautiful veil, cord and coin. In the past couples have chosen, religious, non-religious, Jewish, Buddhist and same sex ceremonies. Rev. BRIAN SAGE is an ordained minister who welcomes all inquiries. Our inclusive service provides consultations and special ceremonies, rehearsal [if desired] and filing of required documentation. We can also suggest a number of beautiful local venues for that perfect day.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
In addition to several graduate degrees, I am a fully ordained minister in the Universal Life Church. I have many years experience within the Episcopal tradition.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I have always had a desire to assist individuals in their daily lives and to provide a service. As I have had the pleasure of presiding at weddings in the past, this type of work is essentially a continuation of my interest in both religion and service.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I have officiated at many weddings, working with and assisting many couples to make their wedding day as special as possible, whether the ceremony is religious (specific denomination), non-denominational, or secular/civil.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
I recently spent many enjoyable hours consulting with a special client creating vows to cover the deep love they had for each other. I consider this part of my service to be fulfilling and exciting.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Look for a officiant that offers only one level of service--the BEST. This includes one on one consultation either via electronic communication or in person. Also search for an officiant that will tailor make a ceremony to suit your personal taste and needs.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
The location, time and date are of the utmost importance. Also consider the formality or informality of the venue and length of your wedding ceremony. Each wedding is unique and special.
