What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I charge a flat fee of $399 for Portland metro area, and negotiate charges for travel, rehearsals, elopements and such. I also work with couples on a tight budget to ensure a memorable wedding experience.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I like to get together either in person, Skype, or phone, and discuss expectations. I work for you!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have been in Christian ministry since 1989. I have been happily married since 1993, and with the grace of God; I have the anointing to perform marriages, and give advice to couples of all ages.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I had been licensed for many years and a friend asked me if I knew anyone who could perform a wedding...after thinking a few seconds.... I volunteered.

What types of customers have you worked with?

Non-denominational Christian weddings as well as Justice of the peace weddings.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

During the years; I have had many wonderful wedding experiences....each special and memorial in their own way. I have hiked mountains, (I don't do that anymore!) officiated weddings at major wineries, farms, ranches, and weddings with drones taking aerial shots. My wife; Dodie, makes sure that we match your wedding colors. We stay for the reception if invited (when we can) to celebrate with the happy couple. I love weddings!!! Brides and grooms are great; and so full of hope and anticipation of a 'happy forever after' together. It's a pleasure to be a part of the process!!!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Make sure that you discuss your expectations with your officiant up front, so that your ceremony can be customized to fit your needs and expectations.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

We love to 'marry couples'. Be sure that you agree on what type of ceremony you want. I am flexible and willing to work with you in planning your vows and tailoring your ceremony to make your "special day" even more special. I'm here to help!!!
