Introduction

Thank you for stopping by! My name is Diane, and I am a professional non-denominational Wedding Officiant, legally ordained minister, and owner of White Swan Wedding Services. Also on the White Swan team is our second officiant, Brianna. White Swan Wedding Services is a professional officiant service serving Brown County, Door County, Kewaunee County, and parts of Outagamie, Winnebago and Calumet Counties. We are no longer servicing counties other than noted herein. When you hire us, you get an officiant with compassion, knowledge, writing skills, attention to detail, and public speaking experience. At the initial point of contact, Diane will meet with you and your fiancé (via Zoom) to learn what your wedding/elopement vision is, and to find out about your love story! After that, I get busy helping you create a beautiful ceremony that is just for you! If Brianna will be officiating for you, we will schedule a separate short zoom so you can meet her or include her in the initial Zoom meeting! Maybe you just want something short, sweet, and straight to the point? Is a small legal ceremony right for you? Do you want a more elaborate ceremony with readings, Unity ceremonies, etc.? We can help there too! Your wedding should be what you choose, and we can provide you with the services that you seek. Included in the fee is a complimentary Zoom consultation, assistance with vows if needed, and creation of your wedding script. In addition, we will hand deliver your marriage license to the Register of Deeds and follow up with you after your ceremony! Things we won't do? 😲 * Stand in your first kiss photo (yikes!) * Wear white to your wedding (oh no!) * Dress unprofessionally (although a theme wedding is always fun so count us in!) * Travel fees may apply* ** PLEASE NOTE: WE DO NOT OFFICIATE PRISON/JAIL WEDDINGS**

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I have a Master of Science Degree and over 23 years of professional speaking and writing. I have planned and organized a variety of events for various residential communities. Some of those events included wine and cheese pairings, craft events, themed events, Halloween parties, Christmas parties, Retirement parties, company luncheons, and more. From there, I ventured into wedding day-of coordinating and officiant services which I absolutely adore! Finally, I have completed continuing education in wedding planning and coordinating, and courses helping me be the best officiant I can be! I believe strongly in continuing education so I am current with any new trends.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Look for someone who makes you comfortable. Can you tell that they care about you, and they will truly strive to make your event perfect? Do they follow up timely, and make themselves available to answer your questions? If they don't have all of the answers, are they willing to find the answers for you?

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
What are your expectations? What is your budget? When you envision the person you hire to help you create your dream wedding, what do you see? Someone patient, kind, and honest? Someone who presents in a professional manner? Seek someone who understands what matters to you.
