What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

1. Initial contact with client 2. On-site meeting to review scope of work 3. Proposal sent to client for approval 4. Site visit to finalize measurements & provide final rendering of work 5. Once approved, fabrication begins 6. Schedule install date 7. Installation 8. Final walkthrough with customer after install

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

We have been in business in the Los Angeles area for over 35 years. We have obtained and held both licenses required for our work (C23/C51) during this time. All of our fabricators and installers pass in-house welding tests and trainings before working with us.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

We come from three generations of welders/iron fabricators. Grand father, father and son have been in the business for over 80 years. Quality, expertise and professionalism come with this experience and it shows on every project we do.

What types of customers have you worked with?

We have worked with all types of customers and all types of projects over the years. From residential clients to commercial buildings; from a porch hand railing to a multi-level spiral staircase; no job is too big and no job is too small.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

We fabricated and installed a custom spiral staircase for a client in Beverly Hills to go from their main level to the roof deck. The end product was beautiful and showcased our expertise from fabrication, installation and finish paint. The whole job took around 4 weeks from start (initial meeting) to finish (installation).

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Throughout our years of experience we have heard stories from clients. My one piece of advice is: Always make sure the person you hire understands your project needs and reflects it through their communication, their expertise and the finished product. Too often do we meet a client who asks us to finish a project someone else started simply because they were gaps in the understanding and communication of the scope of work.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

A. Always make sure that you have an idea of what you want prior to contacting a professional so your professional can ensure 1) they are the right person for the job and 2) they can verify that their final product will suit your wants/needs. B. In all aspects of life, you pay for the quality you get. Sometimes the cheapest route will leave you spending more down the line & is not worth it. C. Trust your gut when meeting a professional. If you feel that they're right for the job and you had a good experience during the initial meeting - that will usually lead to a much better experience for you as the project progresses.
