Introduction

Hello, my name is Kathy Lynn Thomas d/b/a K’Lynn Legal Docs. I have over 40 years Legal Assistant experience. I’m very detail-oriented and strive to maintain the highest integrity with the utmost discretion and complete confidentiality. I offer prompt, efficient, dependable, and trustworthy service(s). I have worked for some of the largest and most prestigious law firms in the Detroit Metropolitan area, one being Dickinson Wright, PLLC, which is a well-known silk-stocking firm where I received excellent training from some of the best and brightest attorneys; another position of note: Judicial Assistant with the Honorable Sharon Tevis Finch of the Wayne County Circuit Court. My services consist of assisting individuals with Wills, Power of Attorney, Contracts (only overhaul), Notarization, Answers, Divorce (I can assist you with correctly drafting and filing the necessary forms), Petition(s) for Appointment of Personal Representative/Guardianship(s) and any other legal documents that do not have to be prepared by an attorney. However, please note, although I can prepare various legal documents, I am not an attorney and therefore cannot offer any legal advice of any kind whatsoever. My fees provide cost savings to individuals, instead of retaining an attorney. My goal is to provide a custom-made plan to fit you and/or your individual family’s needs all with a “free initial consultation.” If I am unable to assist you with the issue(s) you have concerns with, I will try and refer you to another legal professional that is more well versed in your situation. The minimum charge for my service(s) is $50.00. I started working at a law firm when I was just 18 years old and have always loved the law; I enjoy preparing documents, meeting new people, and helping them deal with issues that unfortunately we may all have to deal with at some point in our lives. Additionally, I have completed over 400 Mortgage transactions and over 150 wills, trusts, power of attorney and all other general documents that need a notarization. I'm available 7 days a week and can be there when you call even for emergency situations. My focus is quality, I never cut corners and I will take the time to make sure you are %100 happy. I also offer Administrative assistant • Data entry • Filing and organization • Word processing • Web research • Spreadsheets • 8 weeks or more • At the pro’s location • Remotely (phone or internet) • My home, venue, etc. Lastly, if you need your audio files transcribed into text documents I have 10 years experience in the transcription business. My services are affordably priced at $1.25 per audio minute ($75 per audio hour). We can do any transcription you need; Focus groups, interviews, sermons, police/detective interviews, grad student dissertations. I'm extremely accurate and each transcript is proofread for spelling and grammar before it is sent back to the client. I love the transcription industry because it allows me to work on projects involving so many different topics. I always walk away from a finished project learning something new. Thank you so much for visiting my profile. I look forward to assisting you!!
