What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I charge $750 for a will/trust and powers of attorney for a couple. I charge $1300 for a series LLC in Texas. The series LLC comes with the EIN, operating agreement and complete instructions on setting up individual series, banking, titling, insuring, taxation and more.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I take a great deal of time learning about a client and their needs. After asking a number of questions and listening closely to the answers, I recommend next steps and quote a fee.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have 35 years of experience in financial and estate planning and am a Certified Financial Planner. In addition, I work for three law firms with expertise in wills, LLC formation, asset protection and business law.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

My expertise in estate planning and asset protection evolved of 3 decades working with dozens of clients of all types

Individuals with simple or highly complicated estates. Regular working folks and small businesses.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

A client had $1.4Mil in an IRA, a 23 year old daughter, a sick husband and two step sons. The only way to insure her wishes were carried out was to use a combination of a will and a special retirement plan trust.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Ask a lot of questions. Try to determine how much experience they have and how deep their expertise goes.
