You don't want to get surprised with additional fees, so I will give you a flat fee quote up front if at all possible! My first consultation is always free! Some types of work have potential time frames that are more difficult to estimate and may require an hourly fee. In these cases I will try to provide an estimated range up front, and if I think my fees will exceed that range I will let you know as early as possible. Additional circumstances may also result in additional prices. I will always do my best to notify you of additional charges before performing the work.

I like to have a 30-minute call or in-person meeting to make sure we start out on the same page. This is our chance to get to know each other and for you to know what to expect. You can also ask me about specific concerns you have regarding your situation. If you decide we are a good fit for each other, I will set you up in my secure online portal where we can exchange documents electronically. I'll have you sign an engagement letter detailing the work I will do for you and the cost.

I began preparing tax returns for the IRS Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program, which provides free tax preparation services for low-income individuals. After law school I went to work for a large international accounting firm, where I focused on complex international taxation compliance and planning. I also started providing estate planning services.

I have helped a range of individuals from students with no job to individuals making over $20 million annually. I have also assisted corporations and partnerships of various sizes.
