Introduction

Palm Coast Solar Cleaning specializes in residential and commercial solar panel cleaning and maintenance with sub services such as bird and critter proofing for solar systems, and paint overspray removal (solar), and gutter cleaning. Our job is to ensure that your solar panels maximize their output in order to provide you with increased energy savings. Before cleaning, we conduct a 4-point inspection, visually inspecting your roof for any problems or concerns, the structure of the system, the under panel condition (wiring) of the system, and the solar panels condition, creating a full transparency report that shows our commitment to our customer satisfaction. We are chemical free, using only deionized water for a spot free, superior and environmentally friendly cleaning. We ensure that your solar panels are producing at maximum capacity and saving you money! We have been in business for 2 years but in those 2 years we have made a lot of great relationships and connections with all our customers. We like to pride ourselves in creating relationships with our customers so that they know they can trust us with the job we were hired and exceeding all expectations. We love what we do and we can't wait to service you!

Q&A

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
Our typical process for working with our customers is very simple: we find a date and time that works best with our customer to schedule the job being hired for, we have automatic reminders to let our customers know when the job is, before arriving we send out a text stating that we’re on our way, and when we’re done, we let the customer know when we’re leaving. Customers love the fact that they can trust us around their homes and that will take care of their property such as closing their gates or doors when we leave.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
All employees of Palm Coast Solar Cleaning are educated/ trained on the basic knowledge of solar installation, solar maintenance, visual inspections, roofing & roof safety, and also Osha safety standards. We are also certified through Bird Barrier America for all our bird proofing and pigeon abatement services for bird proofing solar panels.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
After the pandemic in 2021, I decided to clean the solar panels on the roof of the home we were renting because they looked really dirty and was hoping that it would help with our electrical bill. After doing so, the cleaning did help with lowering our electric bill and realized that this could be a potential business. After doing research, the solar panel cleaning industry was just barely starting, so I took a leap of faith to start a small business. Now we have been able to service many homes and solar systems and continue to satisfy customers exponentially!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
The advice that I would give a customer looking to hire a company would be to always ask if they are licensed and insured. As a homeowner, you always want to make sure that the company being hired is professional and following industry standards. For solar panel cleaning, always make sure that the company’s techniques are within the guidelines of the manufacturer warranties, chemical-free, and not using any harsh solutions.
