What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We give great group discounts for scheduling with neighbors, friends, or relatives nearby. We also give a discount for scheduling multiple services for the same day.
Another discount is for frequency. Someone who cleans their windows or gutters three times per year will almost always pay less per time than someone who gets their gutters cleaned only once every year or two. We also have a monthly program where you can get your favorite windows cleaned every month at fraction of the price. So you always have that beautiful view all year round. The monthly window cleaning program is most popular among people who have a view of a pond, lake, or stream. We also have auto-pilot service programs so you can get all your home maintenance done without lifting a finger.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once we receive the address and an email address, we can usually email an accurate written quote within 10 minutes. The customer then clicks accept or contacts us with questions. Then we schedule a day and time to come and do the work. We work with home owners, business owners, realtors, property managers, and other cleaning companies and our process is a little different for each type.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We are part of a large network of highly trained professionals and continue to learn and improve each year. We pay to be a part of this network so we can learn from the best professionals in the world. We also take safety seriously having meetings with our technicians on a regular basis.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
Established in 2011, WOHS was birthed out of a desire to help people enjoy more time with their loved ones, and to bring hope and transformation to the poorest and most suffering. The owner of WOHS has lived among the poorest of the poor for extended periods of time, and has seen the suffering first hand. Many people are born into suffering at no fault of their own. So we donate a portion of profits to causes that transform lives through relief and development, micro loans, education, and rescue work. We hope this inspires others too.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Home owners, business owners, landlords, realtors, property management companies, banks, hotels, senior living facilities, churches, HOAs, home contractors, painters, cleaning companies, etc.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
August 2021, we cleaned all the siding at a large town home association. It was a large project that took about 5 days. We cleaned siding up to 35 ft high.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Ask if the provider is insured with both liability AND workers compensation insurance. Many do not carry workers comp. Also, look at many of their reviews to see what kind of response their work is getting. If you're looking to get your siding or roof cleaned, ask if they use low pressure (less than 150 psi). Many people provide pressure washing, and can leave stripes or permanent damage to your siding and roof. We have a soft wash system that allows us to very effectively clean roofs, siding, fascia, and the exterior of gutters with low pressure. It is the safest, most effective, and longest lasting way to clean the exterior of a building. We also use expensive high quality commercial grade equipment to do the job safely and give you the best results.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Customers do not usually need to think through anything before contacting us. If they like discounts, think about scheduling multiple services in one appointment, or scheduling with a neighbor or friend nearby. We give great group and multi-service discounts. Are you looking for the best service and experience? Many times all we need is an address to provide estimates. Knowing the last time the windows or gutters were cleaned or how many panes of glass they want cleaned is helpful in putting together an accurate estimate, but not necessary.
