Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
I give free estimates. I price based off expected time the job will take, size of windows, number of windows, difficulty to get to the windows and how much detailing they need. For example a double hung french pane window with hard water stains would be more expensive than a standard double hung window. I offer discounts if you add services i.e-window cleaning and gutter cleaning etc.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
After getting your information I will come to your residence or business and walk the property. I will note any issues I see on your estimate form. I will break down pricing so you know exactly what you are getting. After the estimate is completed we will set a date and time that works best for you.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I have been cleaning windows for the past 13 years. I have done everything from small commercial jobs to multi million dollar homes to 6 story buildings. No job is too intimidating for me. I have run crews of 3+ people and have tackled large jobs by myself. I can carry up to a 32' ladder with ease. I am certified to both operate and train people on man lifts and scissor lifts.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I was approached by the owner of a window cleaning company while working at a gas station. I started with him at the bottom doing small commercial jobs, mainly storefronts and worked my way up to Head technician working on large commercial office buildings and residential homes. I haven't looked back and am excited to be working for myself.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I have worked with customers all over the spectrum. Incredibly polite ones, irate ones, wealthy and not so wealthy. I treat every single client with the same amount of respect.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Make sure you trust them. If something feels off about them, trust your gut. They may not be fully insured and that could present a huge problem.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
What exactly is included in the price. Are they fully insured? Who exactly will be doing the work? What happens if they break something while working at your home/business?
