I retired from the USN after 22 years of service. I started Sparkle Window Cleaning in Sarasota Florida in 1993, later relocating to Delray Beach Florida in 2009. In 2014 I relocated the business to Lake Wylie SC. After 10 years I sold the business and moved to Spartanburg SC. I still enjoy window cleaning, making customers windows Sparkle. Window pricing depends on the window size, price range from $8 to $15.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

The typical job starts with opening the window, remove the screen, clean the windowsill, wash the window inside and out, gather up all the screens wash them and reinstall them.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

31 years of experience.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I needed something to do after retiring from the U S Navy

What types of customers have you worked with?

Mainly residential homeowners.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

The 3 pictures of the class atrium took six plus hours with a helper.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Work with an owner operator who works on the job, he is going to give you a good job because he wants you to call him again.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Just remember, good work isn't cheap and cheap work isn't good
