I have been in the plumbing trade for the past 5 years and during that time, I have had the opportunity to learn from some of the best plumbers in the Bay Area. I have worked on a variety of projects, from small repairs to large-scale installations, and have gained a wealth of knowledge and experience. I have learned everything from the basics of installation and repair, to the use of advanced tools and technology. Throughout my years of apprenticeship, I've had the chance to work alongside experienced plumbers who have been in the trade for many years and have a wealth of knowledge and experience. They have taught me the importance of attention to detail, the value of clear communication, and the importance of providing excellent customer service. I have been exposed to a variety of techniques, and have learned to approach every project with a problem-solving mindset. I have also been able to learn about cost-efficient solutions to common plumbing issues, this skill is important especially during these times when every dollar counts. After several years of learning, working and growing in the trade, I decided to take my own journey and start my own Boiler fabrication company. To get there I believe that my years of experience, skills and the knowledge that I have acquired from the great plumbers around the bay area will allow me to provide top-notch services to my customers and make a positive impact in the community. I am excited to begin this new chapter in my career and look forward to serving the needs of the community.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I got started in this type of work as an apprentice. I was interested in the field of plumbing and wanted to learn more about it, so I looked for apprenticeship opportunities in the area. I was fortunate enough to find an opportunity to learn from experienced plumbers and was able to gain hands-on experience and training. Throughout the apprenticeship, I learned the basics of plumbing, including installation and repair techniques, as well as the use of tools and equipment. I also learned about industry regulations and building codes. As I progressed through the apprenticeship, I was given more responsibilities and was able to work on increasingly complex projects. Throughout the apprenticeship period, I was able to observe and learn from the best practices and professionalism of the experienced plumbers, that shaped my perspective and approach in the trade. This experience helped me to develop a strong foundation of knowledge and skill, which I have been able to build upon throughout my career. After completing the apprenticeship, I continued to work in the field and gained experience working on a variety of different projects. Eventually, I felt confident enough in my abilities and decided to start my own plumbing business and take on my own journey.

What types of customers have you worked with?

As a professional plumber, my main goal is to help my customers resolve their plumbing issues in a timely and cost-efficient manner. However, it's important to note that working for people can be challenging, and not everyone wants to be helped. Some customers may have unrealistic expectations or may be unwilling to invest in necessary repairs or upgrades, despite the fact that it can save them money in the long run. In such cases, it's important to be honest and upfront with the customer and explain the situation to them. It's also important to remember that some situations are beyond my expertise and I may have to refer them to another professional. Overall, while I strive to help all my customers, I understand that not everyone wants to be helped, and I respect the customer's decision and their right to choose. I take pride in providing top-notch services, with open communication and transparency in all the cases, to be able to fulfill the customer's needs and expectations.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

A recent project that I am particularly fond of involved a whole-house repipe for a family that was experiencing frequent leaks and low water pressure. They had an older home and were in need of an upgrade to their water supply and drainage system. I worked closely with the homeowner to design a new piping system that would improve the overall health of the home and its inhabitants. I recommended the use of high-quality water membrane to protect their pipes from corrosion and leaks. We also installed new water heaters, a tankless water heater, and a water filtration system to ensure that the water they were using was safe and clean. The project took approximately two weeks to complete. I and my team were able to finish the job on time, within the budget and most importantly with high-quality standards. The homeowners were thrilled with the result. They were impressed with the improvements in the water pressure and the absence of leaks. They were also happy to know that their new water filtration system would be protecting their family from harmful contaminants and that their new repipe would last for decades to come. I'm really happy with the outcome of the project, and it was very satisfying to be able to improve the health and quality of life for the homeowners and their home. This project was a great example of how a well-planned repipe can not only solve the current issues but also can prevent issues in the future and improve the overall well-being of the home and its inhabitants.
