Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
We offer a low price guarantee on all our work. We feel you should not have to pay more to get top quality work.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
From the first call onward, we spend the time discussing what the customer's project thermal and soundproofing needs are. After years of experience working solely in insulation, we can confidently give a comprehensive estimate right over the phone. Our knowledgeable members, can save you time and money by understanding exactly what you need and getting your project efficiently underway. We do have professionals that can visit for an onsite visit as well, yet we find with the right questions asked, we can get exactly what you need.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
We hold a California State Contractor's License for insulation, are Lead Certified, and have developed our own innovations for installing over the 60+ years of service.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
My grandfather started this business back in 1959. Over 60 years, 3 generations, and thousands of homes later, we still continue as a family business.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
We mostly work with homeowners doing retrofit projects on their homes.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Take a look in your attic before anyone else goes up there to see: 1) how thick is your insulation, 2) what condition it is in (if there is any urine odor, or if you have not had any smoke damage), 3) what color it is (light grey is blown-in cellulose, pink, yellow or white is fiberglass). Those are important so that someone does not talk you into removing it if it is not necessary or selling you more than you need. Make sure to find a company that is licensed, bonded, and insured. Also, companies that specialize in doing insulation, doing their own work, and not selling other services will be more reasonable with pricing.
