What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I am excited to be furthering my knowledge and expertise in the field of architecture by attending a school located in the city of Norwalk. The school offers a diverse range of programs and courses that align with my interests and career goals, and I am confident that the education and experience I am gaining will prepare me for a successful career in the industry. I am particularly interested in the practical and hands-on learning opportunities the school provides, as I believe it will allow me to apply what I have learned in the classroom to real-world projects and scenarios. I am looking forward to the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead as I continue my education and work towards becoming a professional architect

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

We assisted an older woman by replacing her deck stairs that were dangerous and rotting. We renewed the risers, treads, and handrail with new pressure-treated wood. It was satisfying to see our client content and secure after we finished the job.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
When hiring a provider for carpentry work, I would recommend the following advice: 1. Check for licensing and insurance: Make sure the provider is licensed and insured to perform carpentry work in your area. 2. Look for experience and credentials: Look for a provider with a proven track record and relevant credentials, such as certifications or awards. 3. Read reviews and ask for references: Read reviews from other customers and ask for references from the provider. Contact the references and ask about their experience with the provider. 4. Get a detailed contract and scope of work: Make sure you have a detailed contract that outlines the scope of work, materials, timeline, and payment schedule. 5.Communicate effectively: Make sure you have clear and open lines of communication with the provider, and that you understand the timelines and expectations for the project. 6.Check for the provider's portfolio: Make sure the provider has a portfolio of similar projects that they have done before and ask them to show you some of the works they have done recently. 7.Ask for a detailed breakdown of costs: Get a detailed breakdown of costs for materials and labor, so you can compare quotes and understand the costs associated with the project. 8. Get a guarantee: Ask for a guarantee on the work that will be done, so that if anything goes wrong, the provider will fix it.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Before talking to professionals about a project, customers should consider: 1.The goals and objectives of the project: What do they hope to achieve and what are the specific deliverables they expect? 2.The budget and timeline for the project: How much money and time do they have available to allocate to the project? 3.Any constraints or limitations: Are there any legal, technical, or other constraints that need to be taken into account? 4.The level of involvement: How involved do they want to be in the project and what level of communication and collaboration are they expecting from the professionals? 5.The desired outcome: What is the desired outcome that they expect from this project?
